A Note From Jackie

A Note From Jackie

Bringing someone into your home to care for your baby overnight requires tremendous trust. I don't take that lightly.

When I arrive at your home, my goal is to bring calm, not more pressure.

I want you to be able to close your bedroom door, exhale and rest knowing your baby is receiving attentive, experienced and nurturing care.

I'm not there to replace your instincts as a parent. I'm there to support you as you learn your baby and your baby learns you.

Those early weeks and months can be beautiful, exhausting and sometimes overwhelming.

You don't have to navigate every night alone.

Sometimes a rested parent and a little experienced support can make all the difference.

Where it started

Jackie grew up on Atlanta's south side. Her first job out of high school was in the infant room of a daycare, and she never really left babies after that. Working that close to infants taught her two things at once: what young children need as they grow, and how much their parents need, too.

Her extensive background in child development allows her to look beyond the immediate task of caring for a baby and understand the developmental needs behind a baby's cues and behaviors.

Why nights

Most importantly, Jackie understands the tremendous trust involved when parents invite someone into their home to care for their baby overnight. She considers that trust both a privilege and a responsibility.

What the hard seasons taught her

Jackie has written openly about her own past and what it taught her. In her words: "I thought my dreams were crushed, my future uncertain, and my purpose lost. But in reality, it was the catalyst for something bigger." She calls it the moment her setback became a setup for something greater, and it's why she believes, as she puts it, "You are not your worst moment. You are your ability to rise from it."
